Creative Approaches to Teaching English (CreATE) is a reading and discussion group, based at the Department of Education, University of Oxford and led by Dr Faidra Faitaki.

The group focuses on the teaching, learning, and maintenance of additional, foreign or heritage languages through the arts. It also intends to form a bridge between researchers and practitioners who work on the topic.

This website contains information about our members, projects, and publications. We are keen to hear from other researchers and practitioners working on topics that fall within our area of interest; if you want to join our seminars and/or work with us, contact us.
